Buttermilk Syrup
Bring to a boil:
1 Cup Butter/ or margarine
2 Cups sugar
1 Cup buttermilk
Remove from heat and then add:
1/2 tsp bkg. soda
2 tsp. vanilla
It will foam up, so have a large enough saucepan.
